The Aftermath

So the guys night was fun. Dio and Graham didn't leave until 5 in the morning, so basically Saturday was a throwaway day. I had every intention of working yesterday, but it never happened. I started out by playing Dead Rising. Nothing like killing zombie masses on a Sunday morning. I got enthralled and then realized I was getting really close to the end of the game.

So not alot accomplished this weekend workwise, but it was relaxing. I am presenting at group meeting today. Luckily, I got most of it done on Friday.

Guys night in

Got a call from Graham last night. Seems as though Kris is going home this weekend, so he will be all on his own. He wanted to know if I would be up for a night of video game playing and drinking. Having the newest systems, I offered my place. So Dio and Graham are coming over tomorrow night for a fun night of Wii and PS3, pizza, and beer.....now if only my place were to be magically cleaned.

So after a week of writing, I have something that resembles a research proposal. It's not complete yet since I don't have references, so I'll be digging through the literature to backup what I've said.

Anyway, I got a hot tip on Thursday about how to get a Wii. So on Friday, I went to the place at the proper time and got one. I didn't open it until after I sent off my proposal for edits.

So what do I think about it? Totally sweet!!!! I'm totally gonna be getting in shape playing Wii Sports. You can't play it sitting down and it's great cardio.

Wii Play though, sucks donkey balls. the ONLY thing fun about it is the 9-ball billards game. I think it's more of a tutorial on how to use the Wii remote...oh well, at least it came with a free controller.

Zelda is pretty sweet, but fishing will be the death of me. I was getting so angry, since the fish would bite and when I tried to move my hook around, it would yank it out of the water. Stupid fishing.

So this morning I have the Wii workout pain. My right arm feels like it's gonna fall off.

So what is my Wii age? 71. It was the first thing I did after creating my Mii. Hopefully I'll do better today.

Damn you EGGS!!!!

So those unaware, I've given myself an April 9th deadline for my draft of my RP to be done. For further insentive I bought an XBOX 360, but won't open it until the draft is done.

That being said, I still have experiments to do, so I thought I'd get most of those things wrapped up this weekend, so I could primarily focus on writing this week. I tried and tried, but the eggs just did not cooperate, so I'm still trying to get this stuff finished.....

On further organization each day of writing will focus on a particluar part of the paper. Why I didn't do this earlier I don't know. Probably just didn't take the time to sit down and work something out since I had alot on my plate. Luckily the boss is gone this week, so things will be pretty mild around here.
