Well it's been just about 4 weeks since this illness set in back in AL. After battling pneumonia since I've been back, it looks like I'm finally able to rejoin society as a functional human.
My body gave me a great birthday present yesterday, I finally got my voice back.

A new medium for 2007
Welcome to my blog. Not that it's anything too special. For new people, I should give a small introduction. My name is Geoffrey Chew and I'm a 3rd year Graduate Student at Brown University in the Department of Molecular Pharmacology, Physiology, and Biotechnology.
I was born in Southern California, but moved to Alabama when I was 11. After college I got my MS in Biochemistry at the University of South Florida in Tampa, and now I'm living in Rhode Island. I've lived in a variety of different kinds of places....to be honest though, Alabama has been my favorite.
